Step 1 · Pick the optimization goal
Open Douyin → Me → Creator Center → Promote → Get Customers → choose “Customer Inquiry” or “Lead Collection” (do NOT pick views/likes — that’s the DOU+ trap).
Pick this wrong and the whole budget is wasted: Under “Lead Collection,” the system specifically pushes your video to people who “recently added another business’s WeChat” or “fill out forms often” — high-intent users. If you pick views, you get people who love watching but never contact you.
Step 2 · Attach a contact component
Once you’ve picked the goal, the system asks how customers should reach you. Priority:

Step 1 · Pick the campaign objective
Open the TikTok app → choose the video you want to promote → Promote → choose “Lead Generation.”
Two ways to collect leads under this goal:
